This post gonna share Download & Install OxygenOS on OnePlus One. A complete instruction to install Oxygen OS on Android device. Here we goes through the straight forward tutorial.
To get start into rooting OnePlus One you need couple of things such as Fastboot and ADB file, TWRP recovery, OxygenOS ROM for your Oneplus One device. Let’s get started one by one,
Tweak #1: How To Set Up ADB & Fastboot For Android On PC?
Step 1: Download the latest version of Android SDK file.

Step 2: Then Extract them and move it to your hard drive. Within that content, “sdk” folder you’ll find “platform-tools“. Just move the “platform-tools” folder to convenient location on your windows system. I prefer to move to the root of C: drive, similarly C:\Android-adb.
Step 3: Now Right-Click on the Computer icon and navigate to Properties.
Step 4: Then go to Advanced tab, and click the Environment Variables.
Step 5: Mostly the system variable contain some lower case. So try to Locate “Path” and highlight it, then click the Edit button.
Step 6: In that string ; go to the last and add the following text. This code should be added if you moved the android-adb to the C: drive. Otherwise just change the drive location with this code.
Step 7: Then just click OK. That’s it!

Tweak #2: How to Unlock Bootloader and Install Custom Recovery?
Step 1: So to begin you need to download TWRP custom recovery file.

Step 2: Then move the downloaded file to the Fastboot folder in the installed Android SDK on your PC which you done above.
Step 3: Navigate to Settings >> Security and enable the Installation from Unknown Sources.
Step 4: Now run Command Prompt or Terminal and enter the following line,
fastboot oem unlock
Step 5: Again run the command prompt or terminal and go to Fastboot folder where the TWRP recovery image is stored. And just type these commands,
fastboot flash recovery
Step 6: That’s it! You have successfully installed the custom recovery 😀 So the 60% of process completed on half to Root Oneplus One with OxygenOS. The next thing is to Install OxygenOS ROM on your device. Just like these 2 things, installing ROM is also so simple in Oneplus One device. Let’s check it out,
Tweak #3: How to Install the OxygenOS ROM on Oneplus One?
Step 1: First you need to download OxygenOS ROM.

Step 2: Then move the file to the Root of your Oneplus one storage.
Step 3: Enter into Recovery Mode. So to achieve recovery mode you need to hold down the Volume Down key + Power button together.
Step 4: Then take a backup and once you done, do complete factory reset of the phone.
Step 5: In the next step, just Tap the Install button and search for oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip to install it on your mobile.
Step 6: Once the ROM is flashed, just reboot your Oneplus One! Have fun 😀
